Dear Queen,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Another year has gone and passed and another chapter has begun. However, I am embracing this chapter with my arms open wide. Let me tell you when you put out there to God that you are wanting to do something that is going to push you to the limit, he is going to answer you. I claimed 2018 as being my year of being uncomfortable. It was another way of saying, 2018 was my year of yes! ( definitely read Shonda Rhimes book, it is great). I am sure you have heard me talk about this often throughout my social pages. I have had to step out of my comfort zone more times than I can count. I would like to say, 2018 made me take a hard look at who I am now. It showed me that I allowed my fear to take control the majority of my life. I am not 100% out of the gate but I am certainly at least way better than I was. I have God to thank for that. I also thank my village for holding me up and pushing me to keep going! I definitely felt like I was getting hit from all sides!! Whew, but I made it and I am an even better Christian, wife, daughter, sister, & friend for it!

{ So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. – Isaiah 41:10}

As 2019 begins today, I have already claimed my theme of the year. After another conversation with my wife mentor, she said that 2019 is going to be my year of REVELATION. She told me that everything that I had to endure in 2018 was a stepping stone to what I have to be ready for in 2019. Of course, I don’t know what it is going to look like or how everything is supposed to come together. So, I am trusting in God and asking him boldly to reveal to me:

1. How I can honor him by using my talent both within my church and within my brand to help others?

2. Who are the people that are 100% in my corner and not toxic to my growth?

3. How I can grow even more as a wife, daughter, and friend?

4. The ability to bear a child?

I will continuously pray for these things and more as I go along this year.

{ Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6}

2019 is going to be a great year despite any challenges that I may face! Remain in Him and keep your faith sis. Have you thought of what your word or theme of 2019 will be? I would love to hear about it!

Many blessings,
